EAST TIMOR: Radio Rakambia reporter stabbed by motorbike attackers

DILI, Timor-Leste (Radio Rakambia /Pacific Media Watch): Radio Rakambia reporter Leoneto da Cruz Goncalves was today stabbed by two unidentified people who were riding motorbikes at Farol in front of Timor-Leste's Anti-Corruption Commission office, the community radio station director Eurico Pereira reported.

Goncalves was stabbed about 5.45am but was able to walk to the Radio Rakambia studio at kampung Alor to seek help from his colleague and presenter Jeronimo dos Santos who took him to the Guido Valadares National Hospital.
